My name is Margo Hoftijzer. I support public and private sector stakeholders in turning skills investments into real employment outcomes.
With 20+ years of experience in over 40 countries, I advise governments, donors, and training providers on the design and implementation of skills interventions that deliver results. My work spans areas such as public-private partnerships, skills system governance, labor market analyses, TVET reform, workforce reskilling, inclusive skilling opportunities, and green skills development.
I started Skillworks in 2018, after having worked as senior economist at the Word Bank, among others. Since then, I have successfully supported governments and other stakeholders through a host of assignments with, among others, the ILO, UNICEF, the World Bank, bilateral donors and private training providers.
